How to Boot From CD on a MAC OS.

Mac OS is a series of graphical user interface-based operating systems developed by Apple Inc. for their Macintosh line of computer systems.
Booting from CD or USB on a MAC operating system is very easy than booting from WINDOWS operating system.
To be able to successfully boot from CD or USB on MAC operating system, the following procedures are to be followed.
Procedure 1: Reboot or Restart (the common language) your computer
Procedure 2: When the white screen first shows after the start-up chime, then press and hold the “OPTION” key.
Procedure 3: A list of drive will be displayed on the right hand pane and CD and USB will be listed as part of the displayed drives
Procedure 4: Use the arrow key on your KEYBOARD or MOUSE to highlight the drive you wanted to boot from and press the ENTER key or move your pointer to the arrow below the drive and click on it.
Procedure 5: And after that, your computer will boot from the selected drive instead of booting form the OS X.
Procedure 6: Then after the booting, you can now carryout whatever you wanted to carry-out by following the on-screen instructions.
Conclusion: Booting from CD or USB is very useful when you are taking maintenance or troubleshooting your computer yourselves and the procedure are pretty easy if followed strictly.
